New York Ornament

Description

The New York snowflake is designed by Nick Tsao, an architect and an up and coming artist based in Hong Kong. Nick is the founder of Papertecture, a papercutting design studio. He currently lives in the historic Wanchai Blue House, where he can share his passion for traditional crafts. Nick spent a year as a landscape design intern in New York and found that the eclectic urban environment shares many parallels with Hong Kong. He designed this ornament as an homage to the pioneering skyscrapers that defined the New York skyline.
